Renowned for its balance, smoothness and expert blending, it’s crafted using some of the rarest casks from Speyside and Highland distilleries such as Cardhu, Clynelish, Benrinnes and others that are no longer in service, plus a splash or two from Islay for that signature bonfire smoke.

Pouring a generous measure into a heavy-based crystal tumbler, Harvey Nichols discovered cigar smoke, rose-scented baklava, vanilla pods, runny honey, pencil shavings, apple pie, praline, marmalade, milk chocolate caramels, banoffee, dry Christmas spices and a raisiny quality reminiscent of Madeira. It’s impossible to disagree with Whisky Advocate’s assessment.
