The Isle of Jura distillery, as it stands on the island today, was completed in the mid-1960s, with Archibald Campbell demonstrably having distilled whisky at the same site as early as 1810. Today, the distillery is part of the “Alliance Global Group”, an internationally operating beverage group. Since 2016, the distillery’s portfolio has been fundamentally revised as part of a realignment. This “Isle of JuraRed Wine Cask” was initially stored in former bourbon barrels and has received its finish in selected ex-red wine barrels.
