Harveys V.O.R.S. (meaning ‘Vinum Optimum Rare Signatum’, but often expressed in English as ‘Very Old Rare Sherries’) are a series of Sherries that are certified by the Consejo Regulador de la Denominacion de Origin to be more than 30 years of age. When you consider how much a 30-year-old Scotch would cost, or the fact that an X.O. Cognac might only be six years of age, it becomes obvious that these Sherries offer remarkable value for money. Although wonderful all year round, we particularly love sipping them over the Christmas season, and they make a wonderful 30th anniversary presents or a cheeky gift for that ‘very old rare’ person in your life!
