There are loads of cherries and they’re all the way through our Cherry On The Top Biscuits, we just wanted you to know that these magnificent morsels are the icing on the cake, except they’re not cakes and there is no icing. Wow, describing biscuits is tough. Inspired by the classic Bakewell Tart, each crunchy biscuit is chockfull of sweet and sour cherries and flecked with flaked almonds for that full-on frangipane flavour. These are a perfect partner to a cup of Assam Tea, a naughty nibble with a Manhattan, or a cheeky gift for anyone on a winning streak.

Made exclusively for Harvey Nichols by a small Lancashire farm whose biscuits proved so popular that in 1973 they stopped farming entirely, allowing them to focus on baking their old family recipes on a fulltime basis.
